Myeongdong is an area in Seoul where popular brands congregate, they have a good mix of Korean (e.g. codes combine, Who A.U, Clride) and international brands (e.g. H&M, Zara, Forever21). If this is the first time you’re in Myeongdong you might get a little disoriented with their alleys and bright signboards.
We got this map off Seoul’s Tourism Information Booth and scanned it here since we think many would benefit from this. We owe big thanks to the publisher of this map since Google Maps (in Hangul) is not very helpful for those who can’t read the language. The map is in Japanese but this is hardly an issue since most Korean brands are in English.
We hope this helps in planning for your shopping trip in Seoul. Have fun!
All information is accurate as of Jan 2011.

We’ve also put up a map of Samcheong-dong, in the Bukchon area. It is a pleasant area to soak up some hippie, artistic vibe before hitting the stores in Myeongdong!
